  A matchmaking conference on the investment promotion of key projects was held in Jinan city of Shandong province on March 28 to embrace the new opportunities brought by the third Conference of Great Business Partners.

  More than 40 executives from business associations and renowned enterprises including Kubota (China) Holdings Co Ltd and the Qingdao branch of Mitsui & Co China Ltd attended the conference.

  Representatives from the Jinan Start-up Area, a base for new and old kinetic energy conversion, and Jinan Medical Center briefed the participants on industries and core functions of the area; entrepreneurs from Sinotruk, Qilu Pharmaceutical and Taishan Steel, representing the city's three iconic industrial chains of energy-saving and new energy automobile, biomedicine and high-quality steels, gave speeches on the development of industrial chains and cooperation intentions.

  Zhang Yuyu, president of Kubota (China) Holdings, said Shandong is a large agricultural province with complete sets of supporting enterprises and a good foundation for agricultural machinery production. The demand for agricultural machinery in the province is strong and the market scale is huge. Jinan has unique advantages in developing manufacturing of intelligent and high-end equipment. The city also strives to develop modern agriculture and build more beautiful villages. "I hope that through this conference, we can better understand the investment needs and environment of Jinan, especially the market demand for agricultural equipment."

  Chen Bo, founder and general manager of Beijing-based LingbanAIaaS, said that he systematically learned Jinan's talent policies, preferential policies and conditions this time. "I hope that there will be opportunities for us to launch a new generation of intelligent service industrial base in the city."
